Subj : Renegade and VMODEM To : All From : Sloop Date : Fri Jun 21 2024 12:00:06 I've setup an OS/2 Warp 3 machine for testing out a Renegade multi-node BBS As suggested here, I consulted the guide in "fullos2.zip" for DOS-related settings. SIO 1.60d installed + Renegade 1.33 is working and it successfully answers a modem call. I'm now trying to get VMODEM working for telnet to Renegade, I have VMODEM on COM4. Renegade gets an "OK" from ATZ w/ VMODEM. However, when a call comes in, Renegade attempts to answer it but then the WFC screen flashes/refreshes adn RG initializes the modem again-- at this point the telnet call is connected, and I can see characters i'm typing from telnet in the black modem terminal on the WFC screen. I think Renegade is not correctly parsing/handling the CONNECT message that VMODEM prints, which is: CONNECT 57600/ARQ/TEL FROM 10.254.255.10 in VMODEM.TXT I didn't see any mention of config options to change this .. any ideas ? --- Renegade v1.35à/DOS * Origin: The Titantic BBS Telnet - ttb.rgbbs.info (25:25/0) .
