I miss the dialup days, but I don't miss that. I miss the dailup days as well. was nice to have a real modem connection some magic to it that has certainly been lost. Maybe the way the screen drew maybe the infrequent line noise or even just the speaker on the modem each system having its one unique sound. What made me mad about it was Pacific Bell. One of the coolest boards was long distance I didn't even attempt to find out the dollar amount as that would have been the end of the modeming for me. the only way I even knew about it was reading about it in the nets. Is very nice to be able to telnet any system at any time. .... OK-give me ONE good reason why I can't have it both ways. --- Renegade v1.18a * Origin: ð Physics ð bulletinboard.systems ð 16BIT! ð (25:25/22) .
