You can do that now with NetSerial ... that's how I ran this place for 
probably 8 years or more until the stupid bots kept hitting all the ports and 
tieing up the nodes until FD timed out.

The only reason I switched was for that.  With Net2BBS it atleast spawns the 
nodes and they all don't have to be sitting there waiting for a call.
