Who is that again JH> JH> don't know what you mean about more compatible or secure. worked fine for m JH> for many years. The open-source BinkD project, which developed the specifications Internet Rex was written around and which are "the" standard... puts out fixes and improvements on a regular basis while Internet rex was written against an old spec and is bug-ridden abandonware that will never be updated. Yet its author still charges for licensing. You like bringing up not using an outdated OS on the Internet but have no problem with an Internet-specific application with bugs that cannot and will not be fixed. If its discovered that Internet Rex can be exploited ie. a buffer-overrun and download any file on the host, what then professor?
