It would be a more interesting conversation if you would assume, just for the
moment, that maybe I know what I'm doing.

I did fire up an Vmware VM of 10 Enterprise 32-bit, copied everything from XP
and had it running. The moment I had a dialup caller the X00 Fossil driver 
drove the VM's CPU through the roof no matter that the serial port was set to
polling. Replacing that Fossil driver was a waste of time. Multiple telnet
callers at the same time was hokey with the way NTVDM and video drivers work
on 10. Usurper randomly crashed. Anytime Windows Update, Dism or Dot-net
optimization services would run, the CPU is hogged causing the BBS to suffer.

The piece of junk XP machine has none of these problems.

It's up to me... that in this house, computers work for me and not the other
way around.
