Yep, my issue may be trying to use the lightbar and still using compare key for the rest of the commands? 
I use getkey and somethings very different from using COMPARE_KEY but the arrows don't seem to work using COMPARE_KEY.

Renegade is a ton more simple ;) But yeah its not that its hard once you know what stuff does what. Thanks for that link Ill have to play with that and see if I can make er do what I had pictured at all.
