Gosh, there was one by ACiDiC I think - that supported RG and Iniq/2 under DOS... I downloaded it and had a peek, but... I'm not gonna remember what it was called today. With the newer BBS softwares, Mystic & Synchronet mainly, you can design a system that does exactly what you were describing. I can think of 2 or 3 that are currently up and running today... lemme try to post them: sysopsolaris.ddns.net:2323 wnbbs.duckdns.org :2300 I really like Solaris' because he has all of his systems listed... and then has a nice phonebook, kinda like a terminal directory, with dozens of OTHER BBSes for users to check out... and, he has a file server that he's trying to get spinning up ATM. Bucko's Wrong Number Matrix, on the other hand, is cool because you can launch in to several different types of BBS software - I know that he runs some in 40 column C=64 mode, but I'm NOT aware if you can use Syncterm and jump around the different resolutions - at any rate, these types of matrixes are awesome - if I ever get more than one BBS cracking off I'd look into this too - but 2o alone seems to keep me stupid busy. :P Cheers!! |07p|15AULIE|1142|07o |08......... --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A47 2021/10/25 (Raspberry Pi/32) * Origin: 2o fOr beeRS bbS >> 20ForBeers.com:1337 (25:1/104) .
