I made a little utility back in the day called beep.com just a Qbasic tool to
beep the pcspeaker. useful tool for sysops. 

used it to notify of twits idlers and heavy downloads. had a batch to make it
beep a few times as a page call that was until i upgraded to soundblaster
page call.

maybe Ill post the link here for "real-DOS" users.
