Hi all,

Sorry to say, I've removed Whisper-Echo-Net also known was WEN or whispnet. The owner of the network cannot keep his BBS up and his unresponsive to emails, therefore I have to assume he's pulled the plug. If he hands it over to someone else, it might be back.

That said, if you want access to it and other older boards for read only access, let me know and I'll changes your privs accordingly.

That said, a new Linux network is starting up as a possible replacement for Linuxnet who also seems to have lost its leader and may be on the chopping block. I'm on the fence about whether I want to add another dead network that's likely dead before it gets off the ground. Fidonet and fsxnet both have areas for Linux that serve that purpose. If you think it would be a useful addition, however, let me know and if I get enough requests I'll apply.
