MP> Now that I am getting used to the quirks it isn't quite as bad. The machine is training the operator! MP> The issues I was having with Audacity appear to be related to MP> LXQt, but only on my laptop. If I use gnome flashback instead, MP> the glitch (the key stroke shortcuts quit working in the middle MP> of a project) goes away. MP> With LXQt/IceWM on my other machine, it also seems to work fine. That's a good discovery! I'm wondering if the problem with the key shortcuts is possibly due to a small cache? Cache gets filled with the project (before being written to the hard drive) and so FIFO kicks in and you loose the shortcut information. ¯ ® ¯ BarryMartin3@MyMetronet.NET ® ¯ ® ....
