Might be letting it draw more power than spec. Mine that has the defective southbridge circuit (that cooked several capacitors) continues to be just fine, so long as I don't plug in USB anything!! Right now it's hosting the old original PCLOS setup, which gets used as the #2 channel for summer baseball ... .... so I can have two games going at once, since I haven't figured out how to get the Dell with the updated PCLOS to speak to a 2nd monitor.
