Well, I'm sort of attached to my eyes; maybe a page magnifier taped to 
the hutch over the monitor?

Just to annoy you!  It didn't make any sense to me either.  I suppose 
deep down in the coding there's a reason -- wayyyy beyond my level of 
understanding, plus I rarely change the Desktop as it's usually covered 
up with what I'm working on anyway.

I usually use the 'find' or 'locate' commands. <g>
