They slowly started to call back some officers.  They gave preference to females and 
black individuals.  I was already working for 3 years in Fort Lauderdale when they sent 
me my notice.  There was no way I would move back to Detroit after finding the perfect 
place to live and work.

Not sure if I mentioned this before but I DID save 2 lives while in Florida.  I was always 
trying to help the community in any way I could.  Saving lives is the ultimate in what I 
can do for the community.  You could have done that as well.  Even bad cops can have a 
good day every once in a while :)
