Subj : Various Things (1) To : Daryl Stout From : Barry Martin Date : Sat Feb 11 2023 07:25:00 Hi Daryl! BM> Oh I sometimes have a lot coming out of me! DS> You just didn't specify what it was. BM> I didn't want to give anyone ideas! DS> Where's your sense of adventure?? I think it's in the box to go to recycling! BM> That's good. I was thinking more the run-of-the-mill stuff like BM> getting groceries or day-trips. Even if an organized tour have to get BM> to the pick-up site. DS> It's better to have the groceries delivered. Many of the ride DS> shares (Uber, Lyft), won't let you haul groceries. Oh. ... I could kind of see why: something spills out, creating a mess. BM> "There goes the 4:42!" Probably more the cities where the train stops, BM> especially if another train will be stopping a couple/few hours later BM> passengers could get off, explore the city, then continue on their BM> trip. DS> Both on Amtrak and commuter rail, have several trains to choose DS> from. I'll admit to not knowing -- no real need to. but that sort of brings up the reasoning for the need: not convenient. The closest Amtrak terminal is in Galesburg, IL, an hour south of here. Chicago is 2« hours east, so almost makes more sense to go by bus over train. ...Unless I go hobo-style and hop a freight train: those seem to go through constantly! BM> You probably didn't know you knew that much about south Florida BM> railroads! DS> That's what I get for doing research. If there's a need or desire....! BM> So if they should have an earthquake would that be a sign of bad things BM> to come? DS> Could be...there was a 7.8 quake in Turkey and Syria the other DS> day. I did notice my spam calls were down. BM> Do not wear 501's! (Levi jean with the buttons instead of zipper.) DS> Good advice. Yet, central Arkansas' area code is 501...makes me DS> wonder. :P Good thing I added the comment else you would have probably thought the Area Code. ¯ BarryMartin3@ ® ¯ @MyMetronet.NET ® .... 1972: Atari introduces the arcade version of Pong, the first video game. --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.47 þ wcECHO 4.2 ÷ ILink: The Safe BBS þ Bettendorf, IA --- QScan/PCB v1.20a / 01-0462 * Origin: ILink: CFBBS | cfbbs.no-ip.com | 856-933-7096 (454:1/1) .
