MP> It was 55F here this morning... I loved it while it lasted. :) Here in easter Iowa it's 57ø again this morning -- about the same as yesterday started, just a lot less humidity. Think yesterday was something like 90% which made me think twice about opening the windows: letting the cool air in: nice. Letting in that soggy air -- ergh! (Did open and didn't get humid.) > Like at your place things are really growing here: yard has sometimes to > be cut twice a week. I think it was MP> enough to account for any watering I might have done myself, but MP> it was not near enough to really get things growing. We've sort MP> of entered a mostly dry spell... hot and humid some days but not MP> much rain. The yard barely needed mowing last weekend, and does MP> not need it at all this weekend. It will get crunchy soon! Yes, it will be the usual hot and humid here soon enough. Right now the grass needs to be mowed about twice a week; soon will be lucky if twice a month. > MP> years ago. If the wildflowers take hold, maybe they will keep > MP> the weeds at bay. :) > If the weeds are pretty allow them to grow too! MP> They are not. Just some kind of wild vine-like groundcover that MP> gets tangled into everything in the flower bed if not kept at MP> bay. Pull! We have a problem with Creeping Charlie. It's not a bad-looking weed: minty smell when walking on or otherwise crushed, sort of a purple-blue flower. Trouble is it kills the grass abd everything else. ¯ ® ¯ Barry_Martin_3@ ® ¯ @Q.COM ® ¯ ® ....
