BM> They sound fun! :) They are...especially her!! At one dance, she gave this caller a deal that looked like sleigh bells, and said "Now, you have your own ding-a-ling!!"...to which, they did "My Ding-A-Ling" as a "singing call. When it got to the Christmas dance, she put two ornaments around another callers neck, saying "we had to make sure you had your balls on!!". In both cases, the hall erupted in raucous laughter. But, with square dancing, you forget about all the stress and other crap in your life for 2-3 hours...and it's cheaper than going to a psychiatrist. My dancing may be over, though. Over 10 years ago, I had successful cataract surgery, which corrected the visual acuity from 20/2000 to 20/20, with a little astigmastism. A couple of months after the surgery, I had to have the Yag Laser treatment done on the left eye...and it originally appeared that the right eye wouldn't need it...now, it does. My night vision is "foggy"...with haloes around the headlights, tail-lights, street lights, etc. So, I've abandoned driving at night until the surgery. But, if it does not go well, then I have to sell the car. I won't turn in the drivers license just yet, as it doubles as "the Real (Enhanced) ID"...needed to fly, enter a federal government building, etc. DS> Case in point...one ham gave this guy "Your Zipper Protruding". BM> :P His reponse?? "Well played, sir". BM> Would have been better with 'Your Zinger's Perfect'!! I'll have to tell him that one. Then, when he says that, he'll likely be told "Braggert". BM> I forgot about Quiznos! I think I ate at one out in San Diego, when my late Mom and I went there in 2009 for the Clive Cussler Collectors Society Convention. While she was at various forums during the day, I took the San Diego Trolley route, and gave myself "a tour of the city". One route I was on stopped 50 feet from the US-Mexico border...that was close enough for me. The other route passed by the Naval Air Station out there, a place where my late father had been many times during his career in the Naval Reserve. Clive passed away six months after my Mom died...and I'm glad she was gone before this COVID-19 crap took hold. Daryl ....
