I think Arthur Godfrey had a TV Show from The Hawaii Islands (1950's?).

Was Jackie Gleason Licensed as a Amateur Radio Operator?
I hadn't heard of Him being Licensed.

Oh, BTW I'm thinking Barry Goldwater's other Call Sign was K3EIG .

Now don't take that as GOSPEL, it came off the top of Ed's Head.

I didn't rummage through old 1960 QST Magazines to find out.

Those QST's are stored alongside Radio TV News, Popular Electronics,
Popular Science, CQ and Radio-Electronics magazines.

I keep my first issue of the Allied Radio catalog here in the pc room.
Its the 1959 issue.
