EJI> If I read this right, sounds like your Aunt went with you. EJI> Probably did her some good to visit with the relatives.=== Yes, she did go with us on the ~90 minute car trip to visit our relatives in Slokavia. Actually I used the trip and visit a little sneakily: my Aunt has had breathing problems for a couple of years and "agreed to" using an inhaler but until this year fought the use of the oxygen generator. This year was using the home-bound version (the big stationary model) but hadn't unpacked the portable one. (Iogenen - close to that -- is the same as the U.S. version.) Other there (with Austrian health insurance) get both or neither -- can't return just one.) She 'fought' the portable unit because too heavy - around eight pounds which is a bit of a problem for her to carry but I had countered any place she goes outside the apartment she is going to have someone with her and they can carry the portable unit. That breaks down a bit of the issue but still putting up a fight. A day or two before we go to visit she has a bit of a breathing episode. I use this to emphasize the usufulness of the portable unit: if this happened away from home at least we'd have the portable unit and she could use it. ...Essentially "OK, you're right but I still don't like it". Off to Slokavia. Yup: breathing problem coming on in the car. Start up the portable unit - gasp gasp ahhhh! Also needs it while visiting. After than no more issues with the portable unit! Even used it one night while sleeping! I'm pretty sure the air tube on the stationary unit is long enough to reach the bedroom but would have needed to go to the living room to get it, turn on.... We have the portable unit set up in the bedroom partially to be handy and partially needed a place where could store and keep charged. European outlets are single -- U.S. outlets are usually duplex (two), so while we can plug two items into a wall outlet they can only plug in one. There are outlet 'cube taps', extension cords with multiple outlets. So by taking advantage of some situations I was able to get my Aunt to use the portable O2 and now she loves it! ¯ ® ¯ Barry_Martin_3@ ® ¯ @Q.COM ® ¯ ® ....
