Your 'interview contractors' brought back a few strange interviews: did have two for the deck (and then stopped because the price of the wood was currently so high). First one started off fine: appointment to come out to measure. About 20 minutes after the scheduled time he calls to say he's running late because he had to take his daughter to get her driver's test and stuck there. Reschedule for about an hour later; he arrives - late, with barely an apology. Takes information and measurements but is constantly looking at his watch. Just a 'bad vibe' so we didn't continue with him. Second contractor was nice but 'dropped the ball' by not replying to my reply of his e-mail. Oh well.
