Subj : Anyone... To : Ernest J Gainey Iii From : Barry Martin Date : Fri Oct 04 2019 07:22:00 Hi Ernie! EJI> I have a lot of FunkPop's, so those type of shelves might work EJI> for displaying them. (You can tell when you're getting old and have to Google what new stuff is! ...Ah! The modern equivalent of the old Hummels!) EJI> There's so many options. :) EJI> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2790858 EJI> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1773908 I sort of prefer the first (hex-a-shelf) though the use of the dark 'sticks' behind some of the units might be distracting form what is inside -- so just use the same colour plastic, if the 'spokes' are needed. ...Instructions indicate they are to prevent the unit's sagging. As for the second option, can see that working too. What my brain might be objecting to is the nulitiple colours: I'm somewhat colourblind -- can see colours, just they're not always right, and sometimes too much colour is overwhelming. That shelf's design has the advantage of if you make a mistake no one knows! And the expansion mentioned in the article reminds me of a philodendron I had in my apartment during college: it just kept growing and growing and growing until it was over halfway across the long wall. EJI> etc... ;-) Just need to find the right ones... ;-) Could always come up with your own design based on one you've seen! Two or three sizes of hexagons? (Something's telling me the math is wrong to fit.) ¯ ® ¯ Barry_Martin_3@ ® ¯ @Q.COM ® ¯ ® .... I used to be a math teacher, but I had too many problems. --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.47 þ wcECHO 4.2 ÷ ILink: The Safe BBS þ Bettendorf, IA --- QScan/PCB v1.20a / 01-0462 * Origin: ILink: CFBBS | cfbbs.no-ip.com | 856-933-7096 (454:1/1) .
