My What I'm Going to Do Today is a mental list (um, in my head, though a
little crazy!) and depends somewhat on the weather: not going to be 
doing yard work in the rain.  Do have scratch paper/note cards and pens 
in various palces in the house, not for writing down what to do but
sometimes at 'odd' times like brushing my teeth or drifting off to sleep
I'll think of a potential solution on a project.  So have a little stash
of paper in the bathroom cabinet and in the bedside table.

I finally found one, plugged it in, and -- nothing.  Did a help post to 
the MythTV Forum (because where is going to be used and they have used 
remote controls instead of keyboards); got an impressive reply 
(detailed) which helped but I ran into a snag near the beginning; should
get a response back this morning.
