I put a piece of tape from one side of a 9Volt Battery, then over the two terminals then put it on the other narrow side. Next I wrap a long piece of tape around the uppermost top of the battery to make sure the first piece of tape doesn't come off. Some years ago there was an article about someone's house caught fire because of old 9 Volt batteries in a jar having their terminals touching and the batteries got hot enough to cause that fire . I wrap tape over the Positive terminal of old AAA through D Cells the same two tape method. If I need to on D Cells I will put two pieces of tape, the second one 90 Degrees across the first one. Hearing aid batteries gets one wrap. Bigger coin cells gets two wraps each one 90 Degrees from the other piece. Ed --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: ILink: CCO - capitolcityonline.net (454:3/105) .
