Speaking of the TI Terminal, instructions given to us said to type CTRL C after dialing up the server. One guy didn't know the CTRL key was used the same as a Shift key. He would POUND on the keyboard with both hands trying to get connected. He was so frustrated that he wanted to throw the terminal out the window I told him to hold down the CTRL key and press the C key so he could log on. I knew that much because I had been using my C=64 to sign on to some dialup BBSs in the area (some PC based, an Apple/Mac one and one with Atari on it). Plus at home I had a Netronics ASCII/Video terminal on RTTY that I used CTRL key commands for EOL and PageDown (I think CTRL M and CTRL J been long time since doing that I may be wrong with what keys were used).
