That sounds rather personal! <bg>   Oh, code stuff - sorry!  Years ago I
would print out some messages (for me sometimes easier to read and check
off the steps on paper).  Occasionally Poster #1 would have a reply by 
Poster #2 and so I'd print both messages together.  #1's was fine, the 
#2's was gobblygook, and it didn't matter who the second poster was.
   
Ended up there was a character in Poster #1's signature which was 
interpreted as "start graphics mode" by my dot matrix printer!  Created 
a print rule so when this specific character was encountered it was 
replaced by some other character.
