That's more because we are using an older technology which doesn't 
recognize the pattern.  In some ways safer because one can't 
accidentally click a malicious link posing as a good one (what is visble
isn't always what the link is).

Ky probably has a better answer than I but I'm thinking perhaps 
DuckDuckGo is configured as the default search engine or maybe default 
browser.
