Subj : Bluetooth Keyboard To : Ed Vance From : Barry Martin Date : Sat Aug 03 2024 07:22:00 Hi Ed! EV> In a Aldi weekly ad I saw a BT Folding Keyboard priced at $9.99 EV> USD. None were there when I visited the Store tho EV> I was wondering if a CTRL key would be on it. Yes: one at the lower left under the Shift key. EV> Lots easier to press CTRL End than scrolling down some text if I EV> wanted to see something near the bottom of the articles. True! I didn't see a manufacturer nor model number; does say can be ordered online but the online price may be different. USB-C charging with sleep mode to save battery life (didn't indicate how long for either). ....I don't recall seeing the size either, so no idea how large the unit is nor the size of the keys. (Could make typing difficult if too small and/or fat fingers.) Do note the keyboard spacing is going to be different from a regular keyboard, so even if near-regular size key pads then your positioning will be 'off'. No touchpad. ...I have a tiny (roughly 4" x 6" IIRC) device which has a keyboard on one side and a touchpad on the other (whichever side is up is activated). OK for typing a few letters but I wouldn't want to do more then a sentence. I use it with a Raspberry Pi downstairs where I don't need a lot of keyboard action. Connects via dongle plugged in to the USB port. Can give more details if of interest -- just throwing it out there as an alternative. ¯ ® ¯ BarryMartin3@MyMetronet.NET ® ¯ ® ....
