And of course make sure the drivers are available for your OS.  Some 
time ago I was needing drivers for some new computer 'toy' -- easy 
enough to find in English) but they were all apparently from the same 
source and missing details.  Finally found the original instructions -- 
in Japanese!  ...Thank you Google Translate!
