Wired is more secure ...didn't you mean 'LAN' - Local Area Network?
'WAN' is Wide Area Network and is the ISP side; LAN is your side.

BTDT!  I've been creating a document with my search notes and the 
website (copy the header) and/or stock number.  Keep it on the hard 
drive for a while.

AFAIK Bluetooth has the shortest range so if no one withing 10m then 
relatively safe.  There is a new BT coming out - I think it's 6 - and 
that has something like a 500m range.  Thing I don't know is if your 
device has the old BT with the 30m range can be captured by a bad guy's 
BT with the larger range.

That one I like!  "MY specifications".  :)  You're like me: I don't
need X, Y and Z.

Maybe try Amazon and eBay -- I search in private mode so less tracking
and junk mail.  Those sites have a ton of stuff which can be overwhelming
but might supply a clue as to what you had previously found.
