This seems to be device-specific (or more likely OS-specific). Some will 
cycle off again, others sit there waiting forever.

And sometimes the BT keyboard disconnects from the phone after not being 
used for a few days, but yesterday I found it was still paired even tho 
it hadn't been used in a couple months.
