I don't know why Bluetooth would be any more secure.

I can't stand typing on the phone, and besides the phone has its own 
ideas and won't let me type what I want (and Apple apparently does not 
wish you to turn off Autocorrupt). So for those rare times when I need 
to type something into the phone, I have a half-size Bluetooth keyboard. 
It is sometimes a nuisance to get connected, but after that it works fine.

You can get all shapes and sizes including fullsized if you don't need 
to carry it around.

Same with mice. My little laptop has a bluetooth mouse, it's some random 
Logitech. (I hate touchpads.)

I have a Bluetooth adapter (a USB dongle) on the XP64 PC but it rarely 
works with "modern" devices; apparently XP does not understand the 
current protocol.
