But these initial large drops in just the early weeks are primarily water loss. It will be a testimony of will and consistency that will prove if your approach works. Myself, it took a span of nearly 2 yrs to get from nearly 200 lbs to 175, and i didn't even have any processed sugar or cookies! :D At 222 + 35 that makes you a hefty guy. Unless you are a pro athlete, I doubt that 250+ was a healthy marker. Even at my modest goal to be under 180, several joint pains and other discomforts and "issues" went away when I reduced the weight. Good luck. -- ../|ug .
