Even in "Smokey And The Bandit", Sally Fields told Burt Reynolds (as she tapped her face) "THESE CHEEKS!!". Or like I saw in the "Toilet Stall Graffitti Wall" door on the BBS: "Spank Hers, Protect Yours, Kiss Mine". :P BM> I've more than liked piddled off a few other drivers by not doing BM> certain things. I was at a stoplight, and the light turned green, but "The Still Small Voice" told me to "wait a minute". Sure enough, a vehicle (Arkansas State Government Vehicle, no less) zipped right through the red light. I would've been t-boned/broadsided, and likely injured or killed had I proceeded. Then, there's the story of the old woman, calling her husband to "Be careful!! There's an idiot driver going the wrong way on the freeway!!". He replies "There's a whole bunch of them!!" (it never occurred to him that HE was "the idiot"). "But, officer...I was only going one way!!". :P BM> Might be delayed by supply chain issues! If I was getting more per month on disability, that'd be an option. I heard that if you don't use up what you get, they'll figure you don't need all that money, so they'll cut down what you receive each month. One good thing was that I was recently able to cash in my built up Amtrak Guest Rewards points (since there's no way I can travel by train, etc. anymore)...and converted them to Amazon Gift Cards, in the amount of $475!! So, I bought several items, including: 1) New numeric numbers for the mailbox (they were too big, but the other ones had fallen off, and you couldn't see them), so I put them on top of the box, and stuck them to the paper they came with, and attached paper clips to them, to hold it in place. 2) Two small portable lights, that are charged via a USB cable. They are perfect for the computer desk. 3) A pair of oven mitts...useful when handling "the pasta boat" when I cook macaroni in the microwave oven. I put water in it to a certain line, add the macaroni, and cook it for 15 minutes. The oven mitts help me handle it, and prevent scalding myself as I drain the water off of it afterwards. Then, I just eat the pasta...lots of carbs and starch. When someone told me to "cut carbs", I sliced a pizza. 4) A ton of food...including a wide variety of Hormel Compleats meals (microwave for 60 seconds), a bunch of Kraft macaroni and cheese cups (add water to the fill line, microwave for 3 1/2 minutes, then stir in the powdered cheese), and a large assortment of bags of varieties of Grandma's Cookies. If I do it right, I won't need groceries again until October. The portions of these aren't that big...but it provides enough food for me to take medications with. Daryl .... How do self addressed stamped envelopes do such?? === MultiMail/Win v0.52 --- SBBSecho 3.20-Win32 * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - Little Rock, Arkansas (454:1/33) .
