I've more than liked piddled off a few other drivers by not doing 
certain things.  Light turns green: I'll sit for a half-second while 
checking traffic -- someone running the red, or on-coming lane which 
also has the green but not the turn arrow.  Checking the opposite 
direction on a one-way street intersection: I've seen too many cars 
going the wrong direction on a one-way.

Many credit unions will allow opening an account on-line, doing deposits
and withdrawals on-line, so essentially never have to leave the house.  
....I think mine has a restriction of must live in the area -- within 50 
miles of a branch?
