Maybe the lawstarter.com folks?  Possibly have them remove a little of 
the ivy at a time: wouldn't add a huge chunk of time to their schedule 
plus smaller bites of you paying them.

Also consider if the ivy just needs to be trimmed back or removed in 
certain sections: it might look welcoming by the entrance and help cool
the west side of the house, or maybe as a low boarder around the house.
