  Would killing of it weaken things like trees, bushes, etc.??

  My 2 lawn care folks (primary and backup) have vanished. So, over the
weekend, I signed up with LawnStarter. They will come twice a month to
mow, then do the hedge trimming once a month. They also have an app so
I can keep check on when they're scheduled, and other things. If I can
get them to get rid of the ivy (I wish my late Mom would've NEVER planted
it, as it's as wild as kudzu), I'll be happy.

  With all the rain we've had, the grass (and especially the weeds) are
rather tall. But, with the severe arthritis I have, along with congestive
heart failure, there's no way I can do the grass.

  I had a bone density scan done this past Friday, and it was absolute
agony on the table...with extreme pain in my neck, back, tailbone, left
hip, and left knee. I doubt they can prescribe anything to help me...
although I quipped to the very pretty and helpful female nurse, "They
shoot horses, don't they??". <G>
