My provider has been advertising something that they try to make sound like
it is a "Cloud DVR."  I read up on it and it sounds more like it is "watching
things on a network's app that you launch from our web page" and not really a
DVR, so a lot of the channels I might be interested in are not available
(they don't have an app or don't have an agreement with the provider).

I would not mind a cloud DVR as it would (hopefully) be more reliable and
wouldn't skip a recording because of a power blip at my place.
