Subj : While I'm At It.... To : All From : Barry Martin Date : Fri Mar 31 2023 19:06:00 Hi Folks! Just posted about Daryl's weather; "interesting" up here too in the Quad City metropolitian area: Rock Island, Moline, IL, and Davenport, Bettendorf, IA. Earlier in the week today's storm predicted for Level 3/5, then 4/5, yesterday elevated to 5/5. And not one but two storms going through: one about 2:30 p.m. and the second around 5 p.m. Winds over 60 MPH at times; several instances of hail, generally pea-sized but some around halh-inch. Don't know how much rain we received but the sump pump is working. Several of the smaller cities an town in the areas did have tornado touch-downs; too early for damage reports but at least one house collapsed. And to add a bit of a topper: today got into the mid-60's -- tomorrow it's supposed to snow!! ¯ BarryMartin3@ ® ¯ @MyMetronet.NET ® .... A man tried to sell me a coffin today; I said that's last thing I need. --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.47 þ wcECHO 4.2 ÷ ILink: The Safe BBS þ Bettendorf, IA --- QScan/PCB v1.20a / 01-0462 * Origin: ILink: CFBBS | cfbbs.no-ip.com | 856-933-7096 (454:1/1) .
