Because contrary to the hype, the Earth is cooling. The growing season 
in the northern U.S. is about 30 days shorter than it was 50 years ago. 
It was warmer during the medieval warm period, and significantly warmer 
during the Roman and Bronze Age warm periods (2 to 7 degrees, depending 
where you look). Warmer means good crops and good living conditions. 
Colder means drought, crop failure, famine, and war. The disastrous wars 
in post-Renaissance Europe stem directly from the crop failures of the 
Little Ice Age. Only reason it's been "warming" is because until 
recently, we were still warming up from that... but not enough.

See Tony Heller's vids (on Bitchute now, censored on Youtube) for tons 
of actual stats that have not been "massaged for television". He's a 
former programmer for the weather service, and has a clue. NONE of the 
alarmist hype is true, some is totally made up, and all of it is lying 
with statistics. (If you only show the hours from 6AM to 6PM, you can 
"prove" that it's almost always sunny, and almost never dark. If you 
hide stats on forest fires before 1970, you can forget that 100 years 
ago they were 10x bigger than they are today.)

See Dr.Patrick Moore's interview "A Dearth of Carbon" for how by raising 
CO2 in the nick of time, we dodged a universal extinction event. (Plants 
evolved at high CO2 levels, and begin dying at 200ppm. ALL plants, and 
therefore all life other than anaerobic bacteria, die at 160ppm. CO2 has 
been declining for millions of years, mostly due to being sequestered by 
coral, and was on its way to zero.) The Earth has significantly greened 
in the past few decades because plants are no longer starving.

See any chemist for how the Noble Gas Law, not CO2, is what keeps the 
Earth from being as cold as Mars. Temperature is directly proportional 
to gravitational friction vs gas density. ("Greenhouse effect" is 
actually negligible.) Venus is hot NOT because the atmosphere is mostly 
CO2, but because it's six times denser than Earth's.
