Are you still paying for that? Was the "package" priced at $11K? That seems to be a lot for a cremation. When my mom passed away it was really easy to deal with the formalities. Mom expressed a cremation and no fancy box. Total cost was $3K, and the funeral home seemed to do all the work anyway.
