All tagging is graffiti, but not all graffiti is tagging.

If a gang does it to claim territory or influence, that's tagging.

I hope they have someone who knows what this is. This is more serious 
than just some gang-banger with a can of spray paint. It may indicate 
that you've been specifically targeted, as an example or for wrongthink.
