  They called it The Blue Laws, as businesses were blue that they had to
be closed on Sunday (usually the liquor stores).

  That's like the cartoon at the fancy restaurant, where the sign notes
"No Shoes. No Shirt. No Service". Well, this guy shows up with a shirt
on, and shoes on...but he is naked as a jaybird below the waist (no pants
or underwear). The maitre'd laments "Well, it looks like you've got us on
a technicality". <G>

  The $1200 and $600 stimulus' were in 2020...the $1400 stimulus was this
year. I got mine in the mail, but my brother didn't get his yet. The way
he has his bank account set up, he's not getting direct deposit. I'd rather
have that done, then I know the money is getting in there.

  I'll be home on Tuesday, as Terminix is coming for its quarterly pest
control treatment, and my lawn man is supposed to come to mow the grass
as well. With all the rain lately, he's way behind schedule. Plus, I do
not want them working if there's a threat of lightning...never mind the
fact that wet grass is hard to mow.

  Don't bother. I took at look at it, and it looked worse than PuTTY.
Plus, they want $30 to register it.

  My late uncle used to separate the trash from the recycled stuff. But,
one day, he saw them putting both into one truck. He never separated
them again. Here, trash pickup is weekly, while recycled pickup is
bi-weekly.
