  Much of the Southern Plains, Arklatex, Arklamiss, and MidSouth, are digging
out from an ice storm, followed by back to back snowstorms. Between 1 and 2
feet of snow was the storm total in portions of central and southern Arkansas.
Temperatures were near -20 in portions of north Arkansas on Feb. 16, and it
was -1 at Little Rock. This last storm set 3 records at Little Rock:

1) Snowiest 24 hour period.
2) Snowiest 7 day period.
3) Snowiest February.

  Weather records at Little Rock began in 1879.
