First one didn't beg; second one _required_ she be given just a nibble of whatever I was having. One night was ignoring her -- probably eating something I didn't think she'd like or too messy -- thought I felt something on the side of my leg. Looked down, no she's over there at her spot, looking at me in anticipation. Minute or two goes by, another light pressure on my leg. This time catch her moving back into position.
