Yeah, really. But, I've seen the models go from an ominous solution (severe weather/tornadoes or snow/ice) on one run...to practically nothing on the next run. The models go out to certain time periods, as follows (I'll just use a few examples): GFS: 384 hours (I think that's 18 days) ECMWF: 240 hours (10 days) GEM/CMC: 144 hours HRRR: 84 hours The thing is, the further out you get from 3 days (72 hours), it becomes "a crap shoot" on what might happen.
