And since your doing it BM> it's not invalid. Back to checking. I still refer to them as "OOPS", after losing packages and items. BM> Can I ship via FedEx or UPS to a PO box? BM> Short answer: BM> Yes, if you use a "hybrid service" like FedEx SmartPost or UPS BM> SurePost. You can also ship it to a UPS Store, if they have "boxes available" for rent. BM> FedEx and UPS can't deliver to PO boxes because the USPS won't let BM> them. It's as simple as that, or at least, it was that simple for BM> many years. BM> There is an obscure feature of the USPS offered for some PO boxes Well, so far, I haven't had a problem doing it that way. If they ship via USPS in the first place, there's no problem. But, UPS, FedEx, etc. don't allow you to have it shipped to a facility, where you could pick it up. Instead, you have to sit and wait at home, etc., all day and into the night, for the package to arrive. BM> So one of those no-and-yes situations. %) The postal customer (that be BM> you!) has to ask for a special box to get this normally-no option. Well, my box is not the smallest size, but a tad bigger. Yet, "size does matter". BM> And as far as late deliveries, had one last night. Mail here at the BM> house didn't arrive until approxiamtely 7:40 p.m.! I don't remember it BM> being that late unless something happened to the postal vehicle. UPS, BM> FedEx, etc. will normally deliver as late as 8 p.m. but the time is BM> usually on their electronic notifications. If weather is an issue, I can understand it. But, if the employee is "goofing off", that's not acceptable. On an ironic note, this young woman's childhood best friend, surprised her with a package, as he was disguised as a FedEx delivery driver. When he lowered his mask, and she realized who it was, "she melted at his feet". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5lENnRGei8&ab_channel=Happily BM> For a while this summer it was running a day early: the delivery was a BM> day after the e-mail said it would. The app is more wrong than the weatherman with his forecast. :P BM> Now I have to research that? It appears both suggested options BM> are used, plus a couple more. Have seen where the CC is almost exactly BM> what the actor/character says so seems to be script-based, others BM> exactly what the actor says down to stammering. Then there are shows BM> like _Adam-12_ where the actor will say "this young punk sprinted away" BM> and the captioning will display "the hoodlum then ran in that BM> direction". Huh? Where'd they get that??!! Sometimes it seems like BM> I'm watching the international version (if there is such a thing) where BM> the English has been changed to make it easier for non-English speakers BM> to under- stand. That researching keeps you out of trouble. DS> I've seen where one person rigged up his campaign sign with DS> electrical wire (shocking), and another "cut to the quick" with DS> razor blades in the edges. I've never seen such political vitrol DS> as I have this year. BM> That's going more than a little overboard. Whatever happened to civility, and even good sportsmanship?? BM> Gee, I thought lollipops were created in a factory! DS> Lolli has more than one father?? BM> Biologically probably no, but the way her mother fooled around....!! So she had a lover that would "suck her"?? Yes, I did just go there, but I'm in one of my nether moods today. :P Daryl ....
