You need to get some Viagra for your hard drive. Besides, Windows does have LONG file names, as of Windows 95. I'm wondering if BM> caller or his lawyer could obtain? I hope I don't have to go down that road. DS> The folks at T-Mobile and Verizon have been very helpful. BM> That's good. I'd shop where there is good customer service. Years ago, the term SERVICE meant something. But, nowadays, things like CUSTOMER SERVICE, POSTAL SERVICE, INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE, etc. seem to have little meaning. Well recently, I heard two farmers talking. One said to the other that he had to get a bull to SERVICE his cows. BINGO!! THE LIGHT CAME ON!! (I wondered why my butt was so sore). :P BM> I guess as long as it works for you. Plus you can call back at your BM> convenience! This is true. I do have an app to block certain area codes and phone numbers. I've been getting numerous ones that start with "We've been trying to reach you about your auto warranty insurance". is my response. DS> That's my deal. When I filed for bankruptcy, I turned in my DS> credit cards...and never bothered to rebuild the credit. BM> Unfortunately that credit number is becoming more and more important. BM> OTOH with your specific needs probably not. My lawn is in bad need of mowing, but right now, I can't afford it. Unexpected expenses (it's not hard to meet expenses, they're everywhere) since the surgery has made finances this month tighter than a frog's butt underwater for me...but I'm stretch things out. I finally got in touch with the hotel manager, and he said the refund should be in my bank account by Tuesday. That will pay for having my lawn mowed. If Code Enforcement were to come by and bitch, I'd ask them "can you provide food and shelter, and pay all the bills for your entire family on a paltry $1150 a month??". They likely will say "No", and I'll reply "I rest my case". BM> Just think how flat your wallet is without all those bulky plastic BM> rectangles! I still have some, but they're not credit cards. Admittedly, I do have a debit card. When I went to Kroger today to get some bread and lunch meat (I got 4 loaves of bread for $5, and 10 packs of Buddig lunch meat for 79 cents each), I was going to pay in cash. The cashier said "if you aren't using a credit or debit card, you have to pay with exact change". I had such, but in looking back, my guess is that he was too stupid to do the math...as so many people are nowadays. To them, it's like Abbott And Costello's routine of "13 times 7 is 28" and "Do you have two 10's for a 5??". :P BM> So do you: Phone 1, Phone 2, and goover and talk in person! I haven't checked the ports for their genders...although when my wife was alive, mine was named Cedrick, and hers was Selena. BM> Not entering tends to make winning a lot difficult! What was your first clue?? If I can't beat the games on the BBS, how am I going to beat the games at the fair, or win at the lottery?? I've lost far more than I've won. I also had to put a notice on the BBS that "Doors Are For Amusement Only -- You Can NOT Win Money. Your only reward is if you make the top score bulletins". BM> During construction they put the cabinets against the ceiling. I'll probably get stuck on the way up or down. :P BM> Haven't watered the lawn here in I don't know how long: when did the BM> grass still somewhat browned anyway. Without watering does eventually BM> turn a brownish-green and in some areas a brown as it goes into BM> dormancy with the drought. I haven't used the sprinkler system here in ages, and the water main for that was turned off long ago. BM> As for picnicing, washing cars, planning an outdoor event, etc., those BM> will definitely bring rain even if it hasn't rained for a month! You have to wonder. BM> A mask isn't a bad idea, though needs to be worn properly. I still am BM> leaning towards if I feel I need to wear a mask to be healthy I BM> shouldn't be there in the first place. Being at a site requiring masks BM> is different. Governor Asa Hutchinson signed an Executive Order, effective July 20, that MASKS ARE REQUIRED in public places. My guess is the only place they won't enforce it, is inside your domicile, with other family members. Besides, it does no good to wear it if taking a bath or a shower. If someone asks me if I took a bath or shower, I ask them "Why?? Is There One Missing??". Daryl .... Got Kleptomania?? Take something for it. === MultiMail/Win v0.52 --- SBBSecho 3.11-Win32 * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - tbolt.synchro.net (454:1/33) .
