  As screwy as the weather has been lately, you have to wonder. I saw
where it hit 128 in Death Valley, California (last year, at nearby
Furnace Valley, it hit 134). It was so hot that cars were breaking
down from overheating...and it wouldn't surprise me if the pavement
of blacktop/asphalt started melting.

  Yet, I thought asphalt was when you hit the tennis ball with your
butt. <G>

  The X-Ray scanner likely will detect it...but I'd hate to have to
go in and remove it. :P

  That's true. At least with the ham radio in the bedroom (which is
also "my shack"), I don't need to worry about masks, gloves, or social
distancing, when "on the air". The same goes for the publication work
for square dancing, or for BBSing. Besides, I'm the only one here.
