A lady friend I have (she and her significant other have that ornery dachshund, who's my nephew ), I tell her that after 9pm, I don't like to call folks...and she sleeps in (as I usually do), so I don't call until after 11am. But, I keep her updated on the weather, as their dachshund is "high strung", and he hates loud noises (thunder, gunfire, firecrackers, etc.).
