Anyone who remembers the 60's...wasn't there. That TAGLINE always make Me think of the TV Show called (I think) Happy Days. I believe the Setting of the Time Period is during the 1950's. I watched the first Happy Days episode and after just a few minutes into the Show I thought about the way they carried on was just like the People did who I avoided being around back then, and try to do so now, too. I've never watched any more of the "Happy Days" Shows. I will sometimes go in the Living Room and watch some TV Shows with my Wife. The Shows I like to watch sometimes are: Laramie, Rifleman, Emergency, Knight Rider. And of course today If I'm at home, I will watch Gospel Music shows: One on TBN at 6PM and at 7PM one comes on the local Educatonal TV Channels I get using a Digital TV Convertor Box to watch Over The Air Televsion. A few years ago a person from the Cable TV Network came by my house and asked if I wanted to become a Subscriber. I told them: "No, I don't want to have to Pay for the privilege of turning OFF some TV Shows that I don't like." Just after being discharged from the U. S. Navy and starting going back to Church at Home, some of the Young People in my Sunday School class told Me about Gospel Music show that came to town every month or so, and after I attended the first one I WAS HOOKED! If I had to pick only ONE FAVORITE Singer from all of the Quartets I listened to, Smitty Gatlin would be my first choice, followed closely by Ben Speer and his Brother Brock Speer. Others that I like are Sue Dodge, Mark Lowry, Ivan Parker, Wendy Bagwell, Larnelle Harris and Don Francisco who live across the Ohio River from Me over in Kentucky. I" think" The Blackwood Brothers Quartet performed in the first Gospel Music Show I was at, in later years One of the Singers Child sung in The Blackwood Singers. I could go on an on, and I might as well, The Gaither Singers, Gold City, Charles Johnson & The Revivers, Happy Goodman's, Hinsons, The Prophets, The Statesmen, The Booth Brothers, The Cathedrals. 'nuf said to show I like listening to Southern Gospel Music. Does anyone else like that style of Music? 73 de Ed W9ODR . . ....
