Normally, our fronts move from west to east, or northwest to southeast across the state. But, it pushed out an outflow boundary ahead of it, and areas of thunderstorms developed. One cell sat over downtown Little Rock last night, and with lightning less than 20 miles away, I shut everything down for a few hours last night. There was a special weather statement issued, concerning the torrential rain and urban flooding possibility, but otherwise, no warnings, per se. We still have a chance of isolated thunderstorms through Sunday night, then it should be dry until sometime next weekend, as it looks now. BM> ...
